The Committee was dissolved at 4:47 PM. The Syndicate was formed at 4:48. By the following morning, Lord Bluetooth had recruited The Board — a shadowy collective of anonymous musicians whose identities remain sealed under Xīnfu's corporate governance statutes. Legal Counsel came next. Hired for actual legal work. Repurposed, almost immediately, as hype enforcement.
The debut album was recorded in the sub-basement of the old Committee headquarters. A space previously used for executive coaching sessions and one deeply unfortunate holiday party. Seven tracks. Thirty-six minutes. The full corporate lifecycle compressed into synth-rock: synergy's false promise, the slow horror of restructuring, and finally — the zen-like acceptance that nothing makes sense and it never will.
Xīnfu SAR sits east of Livermore and Tracy, California. A special administrative region known for three things: its unusual governance structure, its constitutional commitment to Bluetooth connectivity as a fundamental right, and now this.
